I’ve been in the job market for 20 years and I’ve been selling blind for over 15 and selling has always been a natural thing for me, something like natural talent and since childhood, I realized this talent but over the years I realized that even with my talent I needed to be updating myself and learning new things about the sector I was in because the market presents new situations all the time and to be always up to date I started to practice sales training classes.But what is sales training? Sales training is a series of procedures that aim to improve skills, teach new knowledge, concepts and add new attributes to the salesperson so that the professional can reach a new mentality that helps him to maximize his sales and achieve the expected success. Despite moving a large revenue worldwide and being much sought after by professionals from various areas, many of the sales training courses do not provide golden results and this is because most companies that carry out this type of training do not carry out the training correctly.For training to have effective results, the company must define what sales training is and keep in mind that the mindset of the people who will be trained must be worked on so that people think about maximizing their sales and supporting this as a manager of change.The standard sales training took an average of 3 days but this type of training was almost always forgotten if there was no reinforcement by the company and therefore new alternatives such as virtual instructor-led training (vILT), email, eLearning, and gamification.Sales training is not just about delivering the content as if they were classes, the knowledge needs to be absorbed and tested and that is why these new teaching tools are so useful in this type of teaching.
